Root [Verizon] multi window tab

I'm on the plasma x Rom and since it's update I now have a blue drop down tab in the side of the screen. It's for multi window use.
My question is how do I get rid of it?
I disabled the pop up browser and it went away for about a day then all of a sudden the tab showed up again.
Any ideas on how to get rid of the tab?

usually holding down the back button for a sec or two will disable/enable multi-window function
