That was for new customers only. It was still 49.99 for upgrade as recently as last week.

The price for "upgrade" customers is what surprised me too. I've seen a lot of these deals for newbies, but not for us repeat customers.

The best part is that my wife and I will both have the GNEX. I told her that after her phone arrives we can "android beam" each other.
