I have read that the version of Build Number I have can't be rooted, then another post saying it can. All I want to do is increase the volume on my S4 (got it last Friday, on Verizon). The sound quality is decent, but the volume is pathetically low. I saw some mods to fix this but I don't have a clue where to start or perform this mod. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Phone specs as follows:

    Model - SCH-I545
    Android Ver - 4.2.2
    Baseband - I545VRUDMI1
    Kernel - 3.4.0-1392595
    Build Number - JDQ39.I545VRUDMI1
    SELinux Status - Permissive
    Secure boot status - Samsung
    Hardware Version - I545.06

Any other information please let me know. Any other suggested mods if I can do the above would be apprciated as well.

    Welcome to the forum iceotron:wavey:

I'm not really familiar with your version of the gs4 so I'll move this over to the Verizon all things root sub forum where there will be people who can help you out:)
