    Hmm... What's the advantage over just flashing directly to the latest release via ADB?

    its for unbricking methods binary, as you i tried with JB you cannot install a different rom, or a different version of JB after you have gotten stuck at the boot logo, it just boot loops no matter how many times you wipe data and cache.

    odin can be used, i just havent seen anyone use it.
    adb is also used to unbrick, and thats what steven was asking if we have the current up to date methods.

    No, I mean... I understand what it's used for.

    I'm just not sure why you'd use it.

    You can use Odin, plus this image. You will unbrick your GN, and you will have your phone at a version of Android that's two revisions behind, thus requiring an upgrade.

    Or you can use ADB, plus the factory Google images. You will unbrick your GN, and be at the current revision.

    I was just trying to figure out if there was some advantage to Odin that I was unaware of.
