They have done away with the regular early upgrades and NE2 in favor of these targeted early upgrade/additional discount promos to those customers that are the most profitable/most likely to churn.
Yup, if you're on a feature phone (non-smartphone), you just may qualify for an early upgrade and receive a $100 credit that you can apply to your next bill. And the good news is we can use this upgrade at Costco!

The $100 is a credit Verizon gives you and applies to your monthly bill. If one of those phones is a feature phone, you should be eligible.
We flipped my wife's feature phone to a Droid 1 about 5 months ago and locked in unlimited data. Something tells me I'd rather have that cake than this $100 pie.
