    Just got my 32GB Pebble Blue!!! Yay!!! On the phone with Verizon now activating it!

    P.S. it looks kinda purple to me. Maybe purple/gray at best.

    Mine is now enroute with a FEDEX shipping number...

    One major issue...they gave me a new phone number with the phone. Talked to customer support and they already noted in my account I have to take it into a verizon store to get a new SIM card because that was a mistake. Also, confirmed I get to keep my unlimited data plan - I ask that every time I have to talk to them lol.

    Looking forward to the new phone, but what a pain in the butt that I can't just activate it when I get it.

    Looks like of the ten or so reports of people having them, a several had no problem activating and the rest have had no luck and are heading to stores ATM.

    If some do work, probably just a new device issue to get set up for the network.

    RECEPTION is the number one issue. We have already seen enough reviews to conclude the device in general is great, but is the VZW reception as good as the Razr and Rezound, or wimpy (in comparison) like past Sammy devices?

    Wimpy reception also means less battery life.

    My phone arrived one hour ago. Reception at my house is unfortunately about the same as my GNex even though the SG3 shows more bars...

    My phone activated just fine using my sim card from my GNex. The blue looks awesome IMO, so glad I got it instead of white.

    Screen isn't quite as bright as my GNex was with both on full brightness but it's acceptable.

    Got home in time to accept the package. I'll be thinking of you when I'm happily playing with my toy.:)

    Will let you guys know if I'm able to activate.

    I think it is just random. I am a business customer and mine is in process at Fed Ex.

    If anyone gets a blue phone today, could you please post some pictures of it in different lighting?

    I preordered a blue but after reading around, a lot of people are saying it looks more purple than blue but a lot of the review videos make it look dark purple or grey

    Phone won't activate. Been bumped up to a higher level. He found that the phone is not in the database, so the system doesn't think the phone exists and doesn't recognize it. That is why it's not activating...

    luckily for me the fedex location is like 2 minutes from my home so if they deliver it while I am at work I can easily get it after I get off. Hoping for it to arrive earlier than they say though.

    The only good thing about having to wait another day or two to get the phone is hopefully by then they have the activation issues resolved

    Just a side note, y'all notice how many of us currently have the Droid X? We all came due at the same time, looks like.

    Carry on, my phone still hasn't shipped.....

    eh? I have done it many times, there is always stuff to get done at home while your waiting. I have over 200hrs vacation time to blow and use it for any little excuse i can :D

    Is it better to go get it activated at the verizon store and have them do it, or to do it over the phone yourself?

    Now I'm mad. He'll call me back once it's added to the database. It could take up to 24 HOURS!!!!!!!!!!

    Really regretting this now. Should have went to Sprint with my fiance.

    I just stuck my GNex's SIM card in the SG3 and it activated by itself with no problems.

    As for the question about blue looking purple. I don't think that. It looks very nice to me. I actually like it better than black which I never thought I'd say.

    Actually I think non-primary Droid X lines on a family plan came up around now - that is if you bought it on launch day. My wife's primary line (handset upgraded at the same time, so same age as my DX) was up for an early upgrade in like February I think. (couldn't steal the upgrade, her low-end BB died) So I assume those DX owners as primary could have upgraded then (and did to the GNex - at least the crowd around here).

    Where are you guys checking status? The link I'm using still just shows it stuck for the 9th with no other info and the status page on the Verizon site has been down for days.
