Man, and I just setup AOKP 15. Whelp, maybe if I get some more time today I'll try this one out.

I like to test out roms and mods, so I can report on them. I've been on this all morning. I'd have to say that this is a good runner up to or tie for first place with AOKP Toro. This is smooth. Its baked in kernal OC's to 1350 and seems fine. I don't know battery life, yet.

Positives- Different configurable things like softkeys. You can change their position AND their color. I like that. He kangs a lot of stuff from other good roms like aokp and gummynex, so it's going to be good and feature packed.

I wish it had a native 4g toggle, but there is a d/l'able mod for that, so six of one half dozen of another, I guess. I wish aokp had postionable and colorable softkeys. So, it's a matter of taste. It's a trade-off.

The boot animation is stock HD, which I like. I don't like the pink unicorn for teamKang's aokp, so I just replace it with the stock Hd.. no biggie there.

This seems smooth to me. (kernal's not quite as snappy as my leankernal flashed over aokp? Hard to tell at these speeds. 1350 is smokin' either way you look at it.)

Tibu restored data fine. I didn't have to re-program stuff like words with friends. Auto restore works fine from the market.

One peeve that I'm sure will be fixed is that there is an option for additional icons on the unlock screen, but the main unlock is downwards and the icon is underneath where the screen ends, so you have to figure that out. Silly, but true. Minor.

All in all, I'd have to put this as either tied for first or first runner up. Likely the latter as this is the first version of the rom. Excellent first presentation. Kudos to the devs. Top rate work (kanging. ;))

I recommend this highly for newbies and oldbies. It's easy, fast and feature packed. I can't help it. I like features. ;)

To date, for me, I'd have to say that my overall preference is aokp 15 with leankernal 1.5.1 experimental. The aokp has some neat toggles that this one doesn't have.

I don't know. Their both good. Why don't you try it for yourself? :)

I think this rom is great. Steven did a good job to sum it up but I wanted to add there is an option for a 4G toggle in the notification widget. I have the standard lock screen with the unlock to the right.

IMO this rom is as full featured as many of the GB roms I ran on the TB. With axi0m going defunct this is a great new option.

Updated OP for link to mods for the volume rocker wake and MIUI battery bar. If you want to use the MIUI battery bar be sure to download the batterybarsettings apk from the link as well as the flashable zip.

Both of these you flash in recovery. I would suggest a wipe of cache and dalvik before you flash.

I don't see the 4g widget and I think I'm going crazy. Help? Before I do? Please?

Edit 1: Ok.. I reflashed this baby, entirely.. looking for a 4g toggle in the notification widget. I thought it was me. It wasn't. The dev's op says there is a 4g toggle, but alas, no 4g widget. sigh.

Edit 2: Never mind, I found the settings for them in settings. Shut up. You laugh at me, I ban you. :p jk (i feel foolish)

wish you could resize the home screen like nova launcher..nice having the search key in the soft keys, but when you remove the persistent search bar you still get the space. Really liking this mod, after all the trouble i have been having in the past couple of days with fab's release its nice to have something actually working right after install.

You can use nova launcher. I don't like the search key so I don't know if it invades the lock screen on nova or not. I have been rather impressed at this rom.

Very stable ROM. Doubt I'm going to leave Gummy for it permanently, but the dev definitely did a good job with it!

Not a bad decision right now liquid is minimal while this rom is uber  Center clock option and custom softkey colors . I think I might make mod the signal display and go with a fully red or green theme.

I am curious as to what roms this dev had before, he has presented this as his first rom but I have a feeling that he may have done some work on other roms in the past. This rom is kangtastic :p

can anyone who downloaded this please post the md5? it is not in the rootzwiki thread and i am having issues with the install. i have now downloaded it twice and received a "random offset" notification while flashing in clockwork both times. everything seems to be working, but this has me a little concerned. never seen that info in CWM before.

Random offset is (IIRC) to prevent problems with GSM phones if one flashes this ROM accidentally (or through stupidity I guess ). It is harmless, and if you look a bit closer I think most if not all GNex LTE Roms have it. Nothing to worry about, especially if all is working as it should.

thanks guys. so far this ROM is exactly what i was looking for.

-customizable number, order, and color of softkeys. plus long press search works for voice commands again!
    -completely compatible with nova launcher
    -4g toggle widget
    -working nfc
    -center clock option
    -% in battery option
    -sms/phone on lock screen option

i didn't think i was ever going to find all of these in one place.

good work from a "first time" dev, i hope he keeps up support on it. glad we got a new "uber" rom to play with since th3ory bowed out. i am sad to see him go, even though i hated his 5p3ll1ng and wasn't using axi0m. his roms were great on the thunderbolt, AO5P was one of the very best.

I didn't think it would be in one place for a while longer at least, no complaints here :D

If the dev is not a first time dev like it seems (which I suspect) I have an idea of who it could be and if my feeling is right there is a very good reason why he is using a different name now...

DT lost many supporters the last time he quit making roms only to come back after a period of time so it wouldn't shock me at all if DT reappeared in the future

Dang it. LOL. As soon as I get a new ROM downloaded, the next best thing pops up.before I even get a chance to flash it. I have like three or four ROMs downloaded right now I haven't even flashed yet and here I go again downloading this one. Maybe I'll actually get it flashed.

By the way this is not a bad problem to have. :D

Awesome rom I cant switch just yet. I need my verizon and nfl app. I know, OCD. But once its implemented into the rom it will definitely be my daily driver.
