RootzBoat v.4 (uses Android 4.0.3) Link

This rom employs the unreleased ics update and has some mods built into it. It's totally vanilla. No vzw bloat. Post your reviews and comments.

    Enjoy!

I think I'm going to wait until the update is actually sent out and then flash a rooted version. I don't want to deal with making backups of apps just yet. Maybe after the holidays.

Guys, I had it for most of the day today, and flashed back to Universal HD.

Too many little quirks that I didn't like.

    Calendar won't sync.
My "owner info" (name) won't show up in the lock screen.
None of the mods work (boot animations, search button mod, etc., square folders, etc.)
Music app is Gingerbread and not ICS.
Some have reported that "Rootzboat" shows up on the pull down shade and lock screen instead of "Verizon Wireless" (this is kind of hit or miss).
    Live wallpapers are missing.
Some have reported that Wallet doesn't work, or is buggy.
Boot animation is really boring and cannot be changed, apparently.

It's smoother than stock 4.0.2, but about the same as Universal HD.

Peter Alfonso (dev of BuglessBeast) ported 4.0.3 to LTE Gnex, but I believed he didn't uploaded it yet. He is known for very stable and solid ROMs. That's the one I would check out.(once its uploaded :) )

I am waiting on Pete's upload (go +1 his site now if you can). Rootzboat is pretty nice. The battery life and lack of lag has made it my daily driver for now. To fix Google calendar sync you must install Gapps in CWR right after installing the Rom; do NOT reboot before installing Gapps.

I'm running [ROM][LTE] RootzBoat v.4 (Android 4.0.3) as well and it is very smooth. the only complaints i have are the bootanimation and the Rootzboat carrier label. does anyone have the stock ICS bootanimation and a way to change the carrier label? will root tools work for the carrier label? thanks

Just flashed this. It's nice and smooth, as off stock isn't?

I'm back on Fab's Rom as it was to stark for me. I can recommend it, though. Calendar works fine now, Han, if you flash gapps before initial reboot.
