Root [Verizon] Rooted Verizon S3 on TMobile

so i have rooted it my verizon s3 onto the tmobile network...but my internet not work without being connected to wifi (twitter, facebook). is there any fix for this problem? any help would be appreciated...thank you!

also, am able to receive mms but not being able to send them

It sounds like the apn settings aren't correct. You probably have to edit those in order to get data.

I know I'm no help but I am very amazed at someone's ability to take a CDMA phone and put it on a GSM network.

Galaxy S3 is CDMA but also has a quad-band GSM radio in there also. That's what makes it an "international" phone...

The Samsung S3 comes in different variations depending on the Carrier. Some are only GSM and 4g (AT&T,T-Moble), some just CDMA and 4g (Sprint). Verizon S3 has CDMA, GSM and 4g. Even the 4g radios are different. The international version has a different processor. When you purchase an S3, you need to be aware of the model number to know what is inside the phone. You must be careful to root only with the correct version firmware.

One great advantage of the Verizon S3 is that GSM is unlocked and with the latest Verizon June 20 update you can update the APN settings when you put in GSM sim. This works not only overseas but in the US you can even use AT&T and T-Mobil sims. You just cannot get 4g on AT&T or T-Mobile.

By 4g, do you mean HSPA+ or LTE? Just making sure...

The Verizon s3 only supports the 2100MHz frequency for hspa and 700mhz frequency for lte. So it's not going to work on either of t-mobile's 4g services.

you can do it, but you will not have 4g. only edge. I HAD ON ON SIMPLE MOBILE worked well. Need to change apn. Just google it.
