I have a Galaxy S5. I purchased it at Best Buy, but it has Verizon service (I'm not sure whether place or purchase matters.) It has a SIM card, and when I exchanged the card with an AT&T phone's card, my phone worked just fine. My question: does this mean my phone will work in the UK if I buy a SIM card there, or is the CDMA technology still a problem? By the way, the Verizon website says the company can do something to my phone so that I can use it in the UK, but the charge is $10 per day.
