I'm at my wits end here. I've tried for the last 3 hours to root, but going through the xda forums and following their guide on how to root the LG g2, I've always come up stuck with daemon started successfully and will not budge after that. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Anyone have any ideas?

Did this work? If not, what carrier and what is your baseband version?

The version linked at XDA is an older version that hasn't been working on the newer configurations. Go here instead:

    LG G2 ioroot - Pastebin.com

Download the most current version (v17 at time of this writing)
