Root [Verizon] Twrp question about files

For some reason I have to put rom zips in Twrp folder or Twrp can't find them. If I leave in download folder Twrp won't see them.

Anyone else have this issue or solution to this issue?

That's just the initial starting directory; you browse to wherever you want and TWRP will remember your last location.

I can browse to wherever. Just can't see files.

To be more clear I browse to /sdcard and there are no sub files. I put rom in /sdcard/download but I can't get to it.

Externally I can get to download directory but my zip don't show up when I put it there.

I have to put zip in Twrp backup folder to be able to see it.

Any ideas?

Mine does the same thing; I have no idea why. I just use /mnt/extSdCard/Install for all sources; this leverages my external SD card space and I always format internal storage when I change ROMs/rebuild anyway.

Current TWRP can't install zips from the internal sd card. Can do everything else, afaik.

sounds like another reason to use CWM

not to mention CWM 6.0.1.1 is being tested...with touch support

So that's a 'no'.

Can't wipe if your zips are in internal storage!
