Help Vertical line on screen

I love my phone, but for the last 2-3 weeks I've had a vertical line on the left side of my screen. I'm not sure whether it's a software or hardware issue. It does show some color at times. On bright pages, it's more noticeable. On black screens (e.g. the settings page), I can barely see the line.

Any suggestions on what the issue is or how to fix it? Thanks!

Does it always show in the same place, even when you rotate the screen? If it moves, it's software. If it stays put, it's most likely hardware.

Same problem to my samsung galaxy s2..The white faint line going through the display which is only visible upon light background themes and stay puts all the time.

Anybody help?

If it never moves, it is most likely a defect. See if you can get it replaced under warranty.
