Help Very basic backup only connectivity etc

Hi Guys

Just bought the S4 and wondered if someone could help me out with a very basic backup question.

I want to swap ROM to Cyanogen or similar (any recs to sway me?)

Please can you tell me what I need to back up out of system settings etc as a minimum (on paper, writing) to restore conectivity of the phone to network provider - maybe this is stored on the sim?

There is no media or anything on the phone so I dont need a backup app.
