Very few apps can be installed to SD in froyo?

Installed the 2.2 that leaked yesterday -- works amazing by the way.

Anyway, I wanted to install some of my downloaded apps to SD. Surprise surprise, it doesn't appear that I have this option on ANY of the 15 or so apps I've downloaded.

I've read that developers need to unlock this option when they create their app -- I guess most of the apps available today just don't support it?

Can anyone confirm this? Am I just doing something wrong?

That is the case. 2.2 gives developers the OPTION but if they havent updated their application for FroYo or they dont want their app on SD then you are stuck.

Have 150 apps. Was able to move 15 to card. Still, 15 MBA not on phone now. Should get bet better as more developers take advantage of it.

You can use titanium backup to move most to sd that 2.2 won't.

lol that does sound like me. I'm a Ferrari Guy. Porsches are boring to drive. and froyo is hardly a Porsche. I just expected more due to the hype. I think ill just keep my rooted phone.

I asked you in another thread and you ignored it so i will ask you again. What were you expecting 2.2 to be? What do you want it to be? Give us some features you wanted it to have that it lacks and why did you think it had them?
