video alarm

Why cant I play a video for an alarm ? I wold like to play a video with sound to wake up to and I cant seem to find any app or program that will help. Any ideas ? I have tried Random Video Alarm but that is random another app called Video Alarm...but it doesn't really work. Basically I have a Sunrise Earth video I would like to play in the morning to wake up to. How do I do this ? I have a droid X. Thanks for all your time people

The native application o android plays video as alarm. I'm trying to figure out what kind of formats it accepts.

I have something similar called Media Alarm or Media Alarm Ad (with ads) in Android Market. It only play certain video format Android SDK provided. Besides video my app has the option for you to choose a picture to display instead of play video.
