Help Video camera makes grinding sound

I have had the aria for about a month and love it. But I just used the onboard video camera. I took a 30 second video and when I tried to play it back through rockplayer and the video played ok but the audio was a loud grinding sound. Also when I tried to play the file on the built in video player through astro file manager it said "file type 3gp not found". I'm recording 640x480 mpeg4.
