I am new in android world and doing some research. I see many android 2.1 and 2.2 phones are available at cheap. I was trying to search some applications that can turn the back cam as a video chat cam. I discovered the APP - Fring works with some android 2.2 phones. But I am interested to know if someone did some research and successfully converted the back cam as a video chat cam of android 2.1 or 2.2 phones.
As I understand the android 2.3 is the 1st step of android OS from where one can start thinking about video communication.
