I want to create a database of around 4000 short videos so that I can search the database and play the video.
This is so I can take a database of British Sign Language with me on my tablet.

Anyone know of an application that can do this?

    Thanks JW

    thanks for the help.

    It's an Arnova 7H G3 tablet.

I searched the playstore but what I saw was databases that just catalogued a video collection.

What I want the app to do is open up in search mode - ideally with a history option - so I can search for a word, e.g. 'hello' and then it shows the short video of the word in BSL - ideally it repeats until I stop it. I can build the videos myself using my camera in video mode and storing them on the SDcard.

University of Bristol has such an app but unfortunately you have to be online all the time to use it. If there isn't such an app perhaps I will have to teach myself how to build an Android app.

MX player has a nice (and fast) search function. I'm pretty sure it will cover your needs.
