Help video formats and max resolution playable by samsung apollo i5801

Hello, guys,

i want to buy samsung galaxy 3 aka apollo i5801, my main purpose is to watch movies on it,

so i want to know which video formats is supported by it,i know it support divx,xvid,h264 etc, so tell me in laymen terms, will it be able to play common avi,mkv files

and what is the max resolution playable by samsung galaxy 3 aka apollo i5801
is there any limitation on size of video being played?
