I believe sprint is a little harder. Took months to root the galaxy s5 on sprint. it got so back that people were putting out bounty's up to 18,000 to anyone who could root it. Just a matter of time though until a dev can do it.

  4. Bounties? Like money? Also, that's a shame because I wanted to restore my apps. Oh well, Lol. I'm still enjoying the phone, even without my old app data. I loved my S4, but I'm loving my N4 even more.

i had rooted my AT&T Note 3 with TowelRoot. Everything went smoothly, but i lost use of some key features afterwards, mainly my Action Memo quit working among a few other things. I dont know if I even want to mess with this time around.

Towle root is the App the allowed root on the S5 for ATT.

Sprint is rooted? I looked into it and didn't see anything. Well I guess I was wrong then. Im only human.

  9. What did you use to root it? I am quite interested in rooting mine. I miss my Titanium Backup and Avast Anti-Theft (the only things I really used root for), and I really want to hook my PS3 Six-Axis up to my N4.

It's perfectly fine. As you said, you are only human, and to err is human. :)

sorry if you took offense at my post, sprint is very open regarding bootloaders etc so i wanted to make sure he understood that a samsung device on sprint wouldnt have issues with root :)

people have been using teh tmobile cf-root and there is now a sprint one.
