I took a video with my phone today in portrait mode. I transferred the video to my computer and it's sideways. I can't figure out how to switch it to make the phone take videos in portrait. Does this phone really only take videos in landscape?

From what I've seen, I think the phone only takes video in landscape.

I've never heard of any video camera that can take a portrait style video. Try searching something like "rotate video software" or freeware on google, im sure there is something out there that can do this, though it may not be free.

iPhone does it and then exports it in typical horizontal format for you. =|

Another video rotation solution ... at least on Youtube (because I think Facebook automatically rotates it for you?) is that Youtube has an online "video editor" YouTube - Broadcast Yourself. where it lets you turn your video .. ect... and then recreating it to republish it. I just tried it and it kind of degrades the video even more so.
