Root Video playback Error: File Cannot be displayed or played

    Anybody getting this when they try view recorded videos? Worked well in 2.1, but I get this error in 2.2

    did you edit the build.prop

    Yeah with the market update.

    errr...would the Stagefright thing have anything to do with it?

    It's 100% stagefright. Change everything back to false in the build.prop and your recorded videos should play fine.

    Where do I find build.prop so I can edit the settings? Thanks.

    Just use root explorer and go into the System folder.

    I'm having this same problem on a Samsung Droid Charge. But I don't understand how to do what is suggested to fix it.
