I have downloaded MX, Mobo, Mvideo, Mort, Vital, Zineo, Act and several other video players and not one of them can stop_exit n video and resume play later at the same point you stopped it. 2 of them claim to be able to bookmark but cant. Im so frustrated. If I knew this I would have bought an ipad. Does anyone know of a video player that can do that? I am going on holiday Thursday to a place that has zero internet connectivity and would like to be able to watch my downloaded videos. At this stage im willing to pay hansomely for a player that you can stop and come back to the next day to resume your video :)

Mobo, Meridian they're all the same. They can all pause and resume. What they cannot do is exit the video player and/ or open another app while watching then resume.

Sorry I don't quite understand here.

Are you looking for a video player that plays the video while your using another apps.
Try Stick it!

I haven't try it yet. But it looks promising.

But if you are looking a player that can exit the player and then resume the video, meridian is good.
I've been doing this for a while. Play a video one day, exit the video player, use my phone normally and using other apps, use task killer to kill all open apps including meridian, even restart the phone, come back the next day, and still be able to resume from the last place I stopped on the video.

Psxindo thank you and yes I want to be able to stop the video then come back later as even the Meridian player cant do it on my Samsung Galaxy Tan 10.1. I would like to get a trail version of Stick it first. After trying practically every android video player on the market and having payed for one fhat doesnt work im not going to buy it without being 100 percent sure I can e,it and resume play.

I did find out just now in fact that I can forward and rewind .avi fikes on Meridian but not mp4 files.

The free Mobo player will resume where you left off after shutdown. When you have paused the player touch the three dots on the lower right side of the screen. Then select stop. Next time you open that file in Mobo it will resume where you stopped earlier.

Can any of those players resume automatically after, let's say, receiving a phone call during video playback?

I previously used RockPlayer, that was fine except for not supporting auto-resume. I just tried MX player yesterday - it works just fine (the free version) - does everything that RockPlayer did and much more, especially - resumes after call and remembers last played position.

I found a player that do just what you need - Vision Player. It is resuming playback, as developer claims, it save the position of video every time you exit the application and restore after that. Addition you can download subtitles easy. Cheers

Is there any player that contains a brightness adjuster to lighten some of my dark sourced video recordings?

Thanks for any help!!

Try also Bubble UPnP or ArkMC, they both have almost the same features the wireless streaming of media from the servers (UPnP/DLNA compatible) or locally from the devices.
