Okay what I would like to know is what is the difference in the recording modes of the note 2. It says normal, fine & super fine. Do you gain more sharpness in 1 of those modes?

Fine is better than Normal. Super Fine is better than Fine. Fine is not as good as Super Fine. Normal is not as good as Fine.

The better the quality setting used, the better the quality of the recorded Video/Audio, and, the bigger the resulting video file size.

On most digital cameras, those modes have to do with compression ratios.
