Hi, I'm a newbie to the Eris. My first smart phone. Could someone please tell me how to watch movies, videos and/or get podcasts? Not sure where to even look.

podcast, dowload "google listen"
free music download "i music" (notice the space between i and music.
for movies download one you like from here My first movies post... - BlackBerry Forums at CrackBerry.com
then download "explorer" to browse your SD card. simply make a folder on your SD card for movies and drag the movies you download to it.
i know this is alot so let us know if u hav a question.

why download a secondary video player when the eris has one built into it. it's had one since android went to 1.5. goto albums touch video and choose the one you want to watch .

Blackberryreadyvids pretty awesome.. download to your cpu then transfer with usb to phone. just watched The Box and 2012 both mp4's. excellent quality. If you want to put your own movies on your phone buy DVDFAB. Do a google search. Its like $30 and then you can convert your own home movies into mp4's and transfer them over to your phone. Happy movie watching
