Hi guys! I have a Sprint version of the SIII that is rooted. Thanks to some help from my bro, I was able to update to 4.3 without having to unroot. However, I just ran into a major problem here. Before I updated, I was able to see both the videos and pics I recorded and took with my phone. After I updated, I made some new videos and now when I plug my phone via USB into my PC, I can no longer see the videos I recorded on my phone. It shows them on my phone, but not on my PC. It only displays the pics I took with the phone on the PC. Is anyone having this issue? Is there a solution to this problem? Let me know as soon as possible. Thanks. This is very frustrating. :(

Are you sure that you're looking where the files actually are? The phone does a media scan, so it knows all the media files on the phone - your computer doesn't.

Yes. The pics and videos were always in the DCIM folder.

Were they stored on the Internal or External SD? I now think the the Internal in now call SD0 (zero).

i believe internal. there is no card in the micro sd card slot, if i were to get one of those and put it in the phone, could I then move the videos to it, and then take the card out of the phone and put it in an adapter and plug it into the usb port of my computer? would the pictures then be on there?

HAHAHAHAHAHA silly me!!! I just realized that I had the USB settings on my phone set to camera and not as a media device! :banghead: The camera thing only shows you the pics you took and the media device thing shows u both the videos and the pics. Guess I gotta learn how to dig deeper. :D
