So, it looks as though Virgin Media has upgraded its former email client to GMail, which we all would have thought would mean we could simply use the @ntlworld.com or whatever domain each of us has to put onto the Android devices for use with Google Mail, Google Talk, YouTube, etc.

The problem I have personally is the OS giving an error message stating that the email address couldn't be accepted because Virgin Media haven't enabled the Calendar option for us VM users.

So, would I be right in thinking that if this small thing was enabled by the techs at Virgin Media, we would all be able to use the VM domains as default GMail accounts on our devices? Because if this is the case, then it may be something a few of us could email Virgin about, and hope that they allow us to be able to simply use their email domain on our Androids.
