[Virgin Mobile] Change boot animation?

    Is there any way to change the boot animation to the Google edition one found on the ge HTC one and s4?

    If you have the animation.zip file follow these instructions.

    To use Bootanimation.zip
    Using the root explorer, navigate to system/bin
    you will be working with 2 files.

    What do i change the number after p to if its 0?

    Edit- This is what it reads

    768 164 24
    p 1 0 part0
    p 0 0 part1

    I wonder...can you simply change those numbers, or are those numbers created based on some attribute of the animation itself? Also, once changed...what do you do about re-zipping the animation? Anything to keep in mind when re-zipping?

    I haven't put it on my phone yet so no worries, I just want to change the horrible VM boot animation

    Can i just flash a bootanimation in CWM or no??

    Its something ive never done bro but i think the Rom Toolbox app lets you change boot animation. I dont know if thats just a lazy way of flashing them in recovery or not though :thumbup:

    Well im scared of the boot loop, but every bootanimation for the S3 has the 0 after P

    I'm curious about this also. There are many flashable boot animations for the Sprint version so I am hoping they will also work for our version.

    Does anyone know?
