Root [Virgin Mobile] No Voicemail Notifications after installing Victourious

Hi guys!

I've searched low and far.. for the life of me, I can't get any good old fashioned voicemail notifications to come up on my phone anymore after rooting the phone and installing Victorious. I've tried leaving messages, resetting that dumb Visual Voicemail app, etc, to no avail. To see if I have a voicemail I have to manually check after someone calls now, and it is so annoying.

I'm at a loss.. has no one had this issue? Thanks!

Never crossed my mind but I did call and check my voicemail and I did have a new message from a few days ago. Never got any notification about it. I'll have to see what I can come up with

OK I fixed my Visual Voice mail.

I had to restore back to stock using the twrp backup g60 posted. I wiped everything except external sd before I restored.

Once I was back on stock I opened the Vvm app and let it update. Once it updated I opened it and let it sit for a few minutes to make sure it provisioned correctly. I then tested to make sure it was working by leaving myself a voice mail.

I then updated prl and profile and flashed back to Victorious 0.1.4.

Hey, superstars. Thanks for all in the great tools and insights on this forum. I've installed Victorious to my phone and it is SO much better... especially for the boost to "internal" storage space.

Only problem for me is the same absence of VM notifications noted on this thread. Before I try to use the solution above (thanks kwknott) please indulge my newbie-ness to clarify: When you say "I updated the prl and profile" what exactly does that mean? I am competent to restore back to stock, and I know how to flash the custom rom, but I'm not sure how to 'update prl and profile.'

Thanks!
JC

System settings -> system update. as far as I understand, it's basically registering your phone with virgin so they know where to send MMS and such :) but correct me if I am wrong

I installed.a.different version of visual voicemail and it worked without restoring stock

Which version did you install? After going to victorious 0.3.1 my voicemail app disappeared. I found one in the web. Installed and updated. But still not working. Don't want to go back to stock and relish as that needed up all my settings.

I tried restoring to stock with g60's restore after wiping cashed and system. I am still not getting anything showing up in VVM. What all did you wipe? Thanks nothing seems to be working to get vvm going.
