Well looks like AOKP finally went to the universal LTE builds. I've been running it since the April 6th build and its very smooth and clean.

    FLASH:
    Flash AOKP ROM
    Flash APN Fix
    Flash Kernel (Optional)
    Flash Additional stuff (Optional)

    From struckn:
"PS: When installing this (or any other d2lte ROM) for the first time, or if doing a clean install coming from a previous nightly, SKIP THE INITIAL DATA ACTIVATION. It doesn't apply to users on VM/Boost, and just causes issues and confusion if you let it run its course. We achieve data via an APN fix, since we are still somewhat bastard children due to not being on one of the big carriers. However, ironically enough, a lot of users on those carriers have experienced a taste of what we have been dealing with since day one, due to the unified builds messing with their APN's and data. It is some consolation that we were able to run builds that baffled those users, due to having always had an APN solution available!"

Hey bro, I hope you don't mind if I borrow this and post it over in the Boost section. A lot of those guys don't come over here so they'll miss it if it's not posted there. Thanks.

I know that Deathly Kernel is the default Kernel for the LS nightlies. Is is the default for AOKP nightlies also? If not is there a download link for Deathly Kernel?

As far as I know, it is only included in Validus and OSE, as far as ROM's besides LiquidSmooth. Link here:

    Directory listing of http://www.drdevs.com/devs/teamliquid/Kernels/d2lte

In the LS folder, there are now builds compiled using different toolchains. Steve Hoyt, who is responsible for this kernel, actually likes the SaberMod versions better. I flashed 4.8 SaberMod last night with the newest LS nightly, runs great.

What are your settings so far with that version of the kernel if you don't mind me asking? (You should know that I was going to ask this haha).

Of course I should have known! :)

Using Andromizer Pro (although the included kernel tweaker should suffice for most kernel mods now, if desired):

    Intelliactive governor with SIO scheduler
384 min/1728 max frequency with voltages upped to compensate
    Multicore Power Saving disabled
    Dynamic FSync enabled
    Highspeed TCP control
    GPU Max Clock 480
    No Gentle Faire Sleepers
2048 Read Ahead on both internal and external

On the previous 1.4 Deathly (Linaro, not SaberMod), I ran for six days without a charge on my ZeroLemon, just charged it again this morning, so will see what a full cycle on the SaberMod version brings.

Wow that is just amazing. Voltages up 50 for each step that is being used? The most I get are two days and a half days out of both of my ZeroLemon batteries. I think I might have to recalibrate them.

I'm only up +20 on each step. Also, I don't do any video streaming or game play, just standard SMS/MMS, occasional phone calls, G+, Tapatalk, etc. Undervolting is actually kind of a double-edged sword, if the unit isn't drawing enough power due to the voltage settings, then it's going to work harder than it should to satisfy its needs, thereby negating any advantages to undervolting. What I've noticed with Deathly as well is that when idle/sleeping, there is virtually no power drain, which has played a huge role for me.

Post #9 of this thread, but it is included in LiquidSmooth now, as of a few builds ago.

I'd say just flash, I never wipe anything unless it's a complete clean ROM install. You could also dirty flash the latest LS nightly.

PS-sorry for the thread hijack @MopedRyder! Any more LiquidSmooth/Deathly kernel posts, please take them to the LiquidSmooth thread.

I really want to use AOKP, but just like LiquidSmooth, it will not allow me to play Puzzles & Dragons (yes, the addiction is real).

For some reason that game plays well with CM11, but on AOKP/LS it just goes through an update loop with no way to fix it. If anybody else has this issue and got it fixed I'd appreciate an answer, but CM11 will have to do I guess.

Other than that issue, AOKP ran extremely smooth for me!
