Root [Virgin Mobile/Sprint] Enable Soft keys?

There is a line that can be added to our build.prop to enable the soft keys/nav bar. I like them, but I know that editing our build.prop can become a brick nightmare.
I'm hesitant...has anyone tried this?

I had soft keys enabled on my device for a while. I would suggest doing a backup in CWM before and then go ahead and try it.

Yes, it did work for me, but time for disclaimer: I am not responsible if it results in a bricked device due to user error.

qemu.hw.mainkeys=0

That should work, as well as what I found easier, was to install xposed and then Gravity Box (JB) in xposed. That is what I would suggest.
