so how are you supposed to repair / reflash CWM-6.0.4.8 recovery
when in bootloop and recovery shows

    E:Can't mount /cache/recovery/command
    E:Can't mount /cache/recovery/log
    E:Can't open/cache/recovery/log
    E:Can't mount /cache/recovery/last_log
    E:Can't open/cache/recovery/last_log

formating cache x3 doesn't fix anything ., wipe, reset, format, reflashing with lg flashtool tot method fails.
installing from zip fails both cwm & TWp recovery's.

You cant. Your phone is bricked. You need to use the unbrick tools. If it doesn't unbrick, keep trying with a break in between. Eventually it will work.

The dropbox link is broken. I seem to have installed an incorrect version of TWRP (my phone still boots). But trying to flash a rom for my LS720 gives me an error in recovery that there is a mismatch for my phone model? I think I flashed a metropcs aboot and need to have the one for sprint. I found another thread that links a CWM but it doesn't include an aboot image. I know development on this phone is pretty dead and this is kind of a long shot.

Well considering you're replying to an at least 3 year old thread, the link is probably long expired 🙂

I don't really see how 3 years has anything to do with it. This website is much older than that, and Google is still around. The internet is usually pretty stable I thought, but anytime I try to find tools and roms for my LG Optimus f3 it's like a graveyard hehe. ah well, thanks ~
