No, unfortunately until the bootloader gets unlocked were stuck with the same framework. But on that note, i'm going to focus my attention to that. Trying to unlock the bootloader. Trying to port the framework is at at dead end and i'm going to step back from it.

Without a unlocked bootloader we're stuck with stock. Fortunately there are a few people working on themes. I'm thinking brute force may be the only way to unlock it.

This is not true. I have a booting cm using the stock boot loader. You just need to use the V5 aboot and loki on the boot image.

I never released it because it has other issues and I've had other things to work on.

So If I understand you correctly, You can get it to boot if you use the cm system image, and boot image (loki'd) and just include the aboot image? Is that all that i've been missing this entire time is to include the aboot?

I told you this a month ago. The zv5 aboot was the key to making everything work again.

That's unfortunate. I was hoping this was about to kick development for this phone into overdrive.

I don't know what cm system image you are referring to... I am referring to a cm system image, and cm boot image (you need both) that ive built, and a v5 aboot.

I used my cm system image I compiled at the beginning of this month and the cm boot image compiled with it. I loki'd the boot image and included the aboot image as well. It was a no go. Didn't get passed the splash screen. Can I have your system image and boot image?

It won't do you any good, as it needs fixes in the image that work with the kernel being built.

I've used both source and prebuilt, and current kernel while compiling. None worked. Could I look at your cm system and boot image to compare with mine?

Have you ever built a cm ROM from source for a device? Mine boots but it has hal issues so it needs work for many of the devices. Just giving you my non fully functional kernel and system image will not help you.

I only responded to this to clarify that the boot loader has nothing to do with getting a full cm ROM working since Loki works on this device.

Yes. For this phone only. I've compiled both cm and aosp from source. Multiple times. None boot. That's why I'm asking you for a copy of yours to compare. Even just a system image will do. Can I look at your cm system image?

That cannot possibly help you. Every file will compare as different and you cannot copy files between versions as the system files have dependencies on the kernel

The only possibility would be for me to post my source github and for you to compare with that, but I'm not prepared to post that at this time.

Ok, let's pump the brakes. Let's not argue over source code. If anything that will turn people off from releasing work.

Thank you xclusive36 for all your work on this. I really like this rom. This phone is way underdeveloped.
One major problem I've encountered is a system crash when trying to open an activity (for example a link from google now into chrome). I feel like this is a problem that would have been noticed but I am having it after reinstalling several times, etc. Any help would be appreciated.

Flash an older version. One before I modified any framework files. I think that's where the error is coming from. I've noticed another error as well. On the home screen if you press and hold to bring up settings, it crashes. I'm pretty sure the modded framework files are causing the error.

No, not at the moment. Clicking on those settings will cause a crash.

Thank you. I'll be using a play store lock screen for the time being so I can have a password. I definitely like this project and would love to be involved if there is anything you need.

After latest update the Alarm clock still closes when attempting to edit it. -- as someone else had issue . Also Now with the may 20th version I have the issue of when I click on a link in let say hangouts or gmail in the past it would promt me what to open with ie what browser or whatever but now the whole phone just reboots auto maticly. Doesn't even promt what I want to do. I can copy link go and open the browser and past open there but .. yeah like a maps link within an email does the same crashes phone and restarts. Anyone else having this issue?? Great work by the way ..

Oooo yeah the other issue is quite annoying is the system update no matter how many times u stop the script it still promts u to install v6 update. I know you mentioned that its a new issue but thought I would bring attention hoping for outside resolutions.

Yeah, jump back to the may 5th one. You can flash over top of what you currently have but wipe cache and dalvik cache to make sure there are no issues with the flash.

I'm going to remove the may 20th one.
