    There's no such thing as unlimited speed. Internet speed is limited by all sorts of things.

    But throttling isn't done at the proxy, so bypassing the proxy (and you can't - you have to use SOME proxy to get to the internet) doesn't bypass throttling. Anyone who claims he did it either doesn't understand throttling (and how a cellphone network works) or he's lying. (Your ISP throttles you, and there's no proxy involved at all.)

    So there is no way to bypass the throttling we receive?

    Throttling means that they send the data to you slower. "Bypassing the throttling" doesn't even mean anything. So no.

    Thanks. I think this fixed my issue on Spotify where it would stop playing my playlists after 3 mins. I just played 5 songs in a row! Now I can ditch Pandora again!

    There are a bunch of threads on spotify forums from the past year or so about this issue but no one has posted this as a possible fix.

    I have yet to be throttled l. I travel for work and constantly have hotspot on, i usually use around 50gb of data. Idk why but i seam to be unaffected by throtteling

    did you edit any settings? what are your data settings? cdma or cdma + lte?. ALso what was in the evo that allowed us to not be throttled?
