    Can u get virus's on HTC hero?? If so some how??

    Yes and no.

    The handset software itself, being Linux-derived, is pretty much immune due to the way it works. However, and it's a BIG however, the SDHC memory card can provide a handy vector for malware to attack any computers that it is attached to.

    I thought if you haven't rooted your phone and not enabled external unsigned apps, then there should be no way, as long as android market place scans for malware etc

    Someone predicted that smartphone viruses would become more common this year, so watch this space.

    To be fair, it was an AV company so they would say that :p
