Ok I have done an exhaustive Google search for this voice dialing issue with no luck.
Tmobile SGH-T989
Android version 4.0.4
BlueAnt S4 Hands-free Car device
Driving Mode On or Off makes no difference.
When making calls with the S4, everything works correctly until you cancel the call for
whatever reason. The phone does not reset to the home page awaiting an attention
signal from the S4. Instead it resets to the "Voice Talk" menu with its "Call, Text, Navigate etc..
icons and "Tap and Speak" button. So I try and make another call and ask the S4 to use Phone
Commands. It does so and I hear the beep of the phone but the phone is not listening? I can say
"Hi Galaxy" till I'm blue in the face and it will not respond. Why? because the "Voice Talk" menu is open.
I have to manually close the Voice Talk menu using the phones back button. Then I can start the
process of making a call using the S4 and the phone will ask me what I would like to do.
Very frustrating.
I know it is not the S4's problem because it works perfectly with a T mobile Galaxy S3.
When a cancel signal is sent to the GS3 the call is dropped and the phone returns to the
Home page. As it should.
Does anyone now of a switch, checkbox or combo of settings the will fix this?
Thank you for listening.
Any feedback is appreciated.
