I'm wondering if there are any voice recorders out there that allow you to share recordings via text msg? Anyone know?

I've tried that. Unfortunatley, the only send options are through bluetooth and email.

Well they do save to your SD card regardless. It's a work-around but it works. If you get a file explorer (like Astro) and look in your SD card, it's under com.tokasiki.android.voicerecorder folder. They are saved as a .3gp file which is universal on cell phones. Just highlight it and click send. Then select Messaging.
The other way is to just send as an "email" but send it to the person's MMS email address. Like verizon is 9876543210@vzwpix.com. Just have to know what the ending is. But of course a regular voice recorder would be better.
I did notice though when exploring my Droid that there is an app called "Sound Recorder" but it's not accessible. Hmm.

Rehearsal Assistant for me has been the best voice recorder (free with a great $.99 widget also available). It does not have a send to text option (I am sure the developer would be receptive to the suggestion) but it can send to email.
