voice search force close

I tap on voice search button I say send text to xxxxxxxxx (a persons name on my contact list) and "then I say this is a text" I get a screen showing my text message and then I tab send and then i get

Sorry the application voice Search (process com.google.android.voicesearch) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.


wth..How can I fix this?
