I love using voice search to dial my contacts. The one thing I don't love is that after ending the call your back at a results/list of actions screen. Does anyone know of a way to eliminate this? I would prefer to end my call and be back on my home screen without having to close the voice search screen.

I didn't know you could use Voice search to make calls. That is pretty nifty. I just need to find a way to make a shortcut for that, so I don't have to hit "search" then the microphone thingy.

    edit:
    Done! That rocks!

Just add an application shortcut for voice search. It should be in your app drawer. Then it's just a single press to activate.

I just long press the phone button and say "Call so and so"
Or "Navigate to..." or just say whatever you want to search for.

You are right. I guess I assumed it was a function of the Google Search app, and wouldn't have it's own shortcut without some fancy footwork.
But I guess I was making it more difficult than it was. :)
