Help Voice to text issue

I have tried many different ways to get the voice to text to work and have had no luck. It always puts the contact I am trying to text in the message field and the to: part is blank. Any tips on how to get this to work? I just got my phone Fri.

I have the same problem, and I spoke with Motorola about this issue, and they said it's a work in progress. They did say it works a lot better if you use Google Contacts instead of Back Up Assistant for your contact list. I use Back Up Assistant so I can't say if it works better or not.

Make sure your contacts are entered using first and last names, the only say "send text to (first name) (last name) (message blah blah)" and it should work

This also drives me nuts. I've been told this is an issue if the contact is in Backup Assistant (only on your phone) and not a Google Contact. I installed Vlingo and it recognizes everyone.
