    Hello new member here.

    Device: Galaxy Note 4

I am not sure if this is an Android issue or not. When I am trying to send text messages using the voice to text, frequently when I press the microphone button it initiates a phone call. Anyone else ever have this problem? Should I be asking at a Samsung forum?

    Thanks!

    Hi

What keyboard are you using? It seems to work fine with Google keyboard. (Not tried the stock Samsung one) - or are you trying to do it all through the Google app?

I am using a keyboard called SwiftKey.

The cursor is in the window where I would start typing a text but I press the microphone button in the lower left hand corner of the keyboard. That activates voice to text. Instead of writing what I say a phone call starts to the same number. I only have the problem when I am trying to send a text message. At no other time does this process initiate a phone call. Not when I'm talking an email or talking to Google Maps or Messenger. Only when I am sending a text message.

And I love this keyboard so I really hope I don't have to change haha...
