My HTC Hero had a slick voicemail app that allowed you to manage voicemails via an interface, pause them, etc. etc., all the things you'd expect from a smartphone.

I must be missing something obvious, but I can't find anything on the thrill. Just the phone number to call for voicemail. Is there an app for managing voicemails I should use?

Anybody? Is everyone really dialing for voicemails?

There's visual voicemail plus & Youmail visual plus. Both from the market.

Thanks, I'll try those. I had assumed since my 3 year old phone had visual voicemail standard, that every phone nowadays would.

I am pretty sure ATT makes you pay for that feature...which is why most use apps or google voice...
