What is the easiest way a-z to get wifi calling on the Nexus One tmobile? Will GV work over wifi?
I also wonder what the current status of Skype over wifi is? I'm not sure I want to start using GV (maybe I have to?).
Google Voice wouldn't do voice over IP either. It dials a traditional cell call to one of their numbers, from there calls what you asked for, then connects those calls so you can talk.
Try the Fring application on the Market.
I have used this to call another Hero over WiFi, but it was a little too buggy at the time for me to bother continuing to use it.
look into sipdroid. Read the guides (links at the bottom of the page).
Fring seems fine to me on the Hero
I use nimbuzz to connect to skype contacts (i.e skype to skype rather than skype out) - for some reason fring always showed contacts as being offline, but nimbuzz works (I also only do it over wifi)
