It's a USB-charged device, ergo about 5 volts. 1000ma is preferable but it charges happily off 500ma.

    Hi @ all,

Don't want to start a new thread so i'll ask here.
Have HTC Desire. Don't know why but my phone is showing the same "Charging (USB)" doesn't matter it's plugged to PC or to AC adapter. And it takes 5-6 hrs to completely charge to 100%.
    Any ideas?

    Thanks

Sounds like the mains charger is only putting out 500mA. It should have the output on it somewhere. If its the original HTC charger its defective.

It could be a software problem... Have you tried turning it off and taking the battery out?

Are they all 1 piece or is it 1 usb cable you're using on all 3 chargers?
