Is any one elses volume down button pushed in? Makes it hard to put the volume down. I got my Evo new a couple days ago so I don't know if it's normal or a defect on mine

Mine is not (3 week old EVO V). My volume buttons are actually too sensitive for my liking.

There's actually a YouTube video but I'm on the phone. If it's difficult to press a button try a couple of small strips of tape on the inside of the battery cover.

And if they're too sensitive you can try gently sanding the nubs on the inside of the battery cover with emory. Just different manufacturing tolerance involved.

I don't have a problem with the volume buttons. Mine work as they should. I would suggest you go on Amazon and order a case for it as some cases would actually help making it easier to use the buttons on your phone. I would recommend the eforcity tpu case. Cost you only a couple bucks but it's a fine product! One of the best cover cases you can get to protect your phone.

I just received my S-Curve TPU case from eBay. Now my volume buttons are perfect ..... best $1.48 I ever spent on a phone :D
