Is there a fix already for the GPS volume in androide 4.1.2 ?
If I could get her to stop whispering and start talking that would be a good start, I cannot believe that this is not possible ?

I think if you can catch your volume buttons when the GPS is talking, then you should be able to increase the volume.

    yeah, I read that too
Tried it, but it did not work.

Also tried activating the hidden menu by typing some code in the phone, but that also does not work.

    Any other ideas ?

The strangest thing is that when I start navigating, the first message she speaks is at a louder volume than all next messages.

I'm pretty sure that in ICS Google eliminated the separate Navigation Volume that was accessible only while navigation instructions were being spoken, and instructions are now delivered via the Media stream. Is your media volume at maximum?

My phone is a samsung galaxy trend lite
    modelnr is GT-S7390

I already tried changing the volume as she speaks, as I found on google, but it did not help.

I finally got my new car yesterday, the phone is now able to connect (bluetooth) to the car radio, and luckily the car radio is able to increase the volume.
So right now I can finally use the gps, but the problem still exists, if anybody has a solution I'd still like to know, also there may be others having the same problem.
