Is anyone having trouble with your volume going sporadic?
It happens more with the earphones in. it jumps up and down.

I put this topic in the general area because I wanted to know if it was a general problem and let’s face it. The phone specific areas don't get visited nearly as much.

Not bad that problem myself but so many people have had various problems I'm beginning to think that a few shoddy devices have been shipped.

The "in and out" seems odd. Back in the olden' days of analog potentiometers and capacitors, such things happened, but with more silicon based chips such issues should not be too common. Seems there may be a voltage threshold issue and Sony may have not provided enough juice through to the 3.5mm jack. Folks would notice this more if using higher impedance head phones, since it would take more juice to provide a steady output.

That sounds like it make sense. LOL
I'm not happy and I hope Sony can fix this.
