It could be a bad volume up switch (the part behind the button) or it could be a problem on the motherboard or software corruption. It has to be diagnosed by someone who actually has the phone in his hand and can open it and take some measurements. It's not a simple "this is the only cause of that" situation.
That's what I was kinda thinking. I guess I will have to take it in. Thanx for the reply
