    When do you use Vol+UP?
When do you use and Vol+Down?
    (at boot)

  2. Holding V-up and pressing the power key with the device already off brings it to the recovery area.

Pressing V-down in the recovery area brings it to the previous menu, if you've advanced in the menu by selecting something at the original recovery menu.

didn't want to open a new thread for this one...:)
i used to have a Sony Ericsson handset (the c-902, dumb phone but great camera) and when i listened to music, if i would press the volume up for 2 seconds it would skip to the next song on the list, the vol down would do the opposite. a short press would change the volume.
is there a music app for android that would the same on the eris, or is it a hardware thing?

    thanks.

    You'll get play/pause/skip forward/skip backward.
